Hiking around Mont Blanc, France
Trip program –
D1: Meeting at Notre Dame de la Gorge (Chamonix valley) at 9h30. We start climbing towards Voza col (1635m) and then down across beautiful grassland to the ancient village of Bionnassay. From there we hike until Gerdil (1014m), Notre Dame de La Gorge (1210m), and then across dense forests to La Balme hut (1706m) (5h30).
D2: Morning hike to the du Bonhomme col (2329m) and then des Fours (2665m) with amazing views over the snow mountains. We start descending towards Ville des Glaciers (1789m), on a very isolated valley; hut de Mottets (1870m) (6h).
D3: We start climbing through an area of sub-artic vegetation to the col de la Seigne (2516m); stop for a pic-nic with a magnificent panorama over Mont Blanc (4807m). We continue across the italian valley Veny and then to Lake Combal (1970m); hut at Chécrouit col (1956m) (6h30).
D4: We descend across grassland to Courmayer (1226m) at Ferret valley and take the time to visit this typical alpine village. Hike to Bertone hut (1990m), facing the Grand Jorasses (4208m) and Brenva glacier.
D5: Trek towards Pré grassland (2125m) and then down to the village of Planpincieux (1564m); bus to Arnuva (1769m); trek to Grand Col Ferret (2543m) surrounded by the snowed mountains and then along Ferret river until la Fouly (1500m) (6h).
D6: Bus to Champex (1444m) in Switzlerdand; hike across d’Arpette valley and then down to col de la Forclaz (1526m) (5h).
D7
: We continue towards Arve valley entering French territory again and reaching the Tour village (1400m) (5h). Return to Chamonix by bus.Difficulty:

Transport: Chamonix is located aprox 80Km SE from Geneve, there are bus connections between the two places. We may provide a mini-bus transport between these two locations at an extra cost.
Booking Conditions

- Valid in 2004.Includes: mountain huts during the trek, all meals from D1's diner to D7's pic nic lunch, luggage transport by donkeys (7kg max per person), French guide.
Does not include: transport to and from Chamonix, personal equipment, visits on free time, accomodation on D8, tips, single supplement, travel insurance.
Group: min 6 persons, max 16.
Program: Depending on weather conditions, the groups’ condition or other justifiable, the guide may alter the program.
Equipment: Trekking boots, 40-60ltr rucksack, waterproof gear, etc.
Note: each participant will carry his/her own equipment (6-8Kg), no sleeping bag needed.
